Notification of Publication of Preliminary Documentation: Invitation to Comment
EPBC Referral 2024/09967
- The following notice is published pursuant to Section 95A(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
- Eagleton Rock Syndicate Pty Ltd is proposing the development of a gravel and aggregate quarry at 13 Barleigh Ranch Way, Eagleton NSW (Lot 2 DP 1108702).
- The proposed action has been determined to be a “controlled action” under the EPBC Act. The controlling provision under the EPBC Act is “Listed threatened species and communities” (Sections 18 and 18A).
- The Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) advised that the project will be assessed through Preliminary Documentation. The preliminary documentation for the proposed action will be on display in hard copy for 10 business days from 17 November to 28 Navember 2025 at the following locations:
- Raymond Terrace Library - 18a Sturgeon Street, Raymond Terrace, NSW, 2324
- The State Library of New South Wales – 1 Shakespeare Place, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
